FAQS

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. For annual payments, we can issue invoices and accept POs.

We also accept physical checks. We do not accept payments via PayPal.

WHY WAS MY CREDIT CARD DECLINED?

When payments get declined, it’s most often because the address entered during the checkout process is different form the address on the card. Billing address and the address on the card should be the same. When your credit card gets declined, you may see a pending charge on your credit card statement. Please do not worry about the charge; it will disappear in a couple of days.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?

All of our products have a 100% money back guarantee of authenticity and against defects and faulty workmanship; we want you to be happy with your purchase. Shipping and handling are refunded if the return is a result of an error on behalf of Artvus and the items are returned via standard ground shipping.

IS BABY ALPACA FROM BABY ALPACAS?

Baby alpaca is an industry term, which relates to the fineness of the fibers that went into that particular garment or product. There are several fineness grades of alpaca fiber. The grade of fineness is not necessarily related to the age of the animal from which the fleece came. Baby alpacas (called crias) typically do have very fine fleeces. As alpacas age, the fineness of their fiber tends to decrease. Through selective breeding, there are adult alpacas that continually produce fiber, which grades at baby or finer. As alpaca producers, this is a quality that we strive to produce.

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE USA?

Absolutely!  Once we receive your order and calculate shipping costs, we will contact you via email with detailed shipping costs.  Once you approve shipping costs (via email), your credit card will be charged and your order shipped.

WHY SHOULD I BUY ALPACA PRODUCTS?

Alpaca wool is considered a luxury fiber; it is excellent quality and is quite rare in garments due to its high price. It is 100% natural, hypoallergenic and no chemicals are needed to process the fiber since it doesn’t have lanolin oils like sheep wool. It does not itch and it’s silky soft, breathable and warm yet very strong, light and resilient. It will last for years and can be handed down through generations if taken care of properly.

ARE ALPACA PRODUCTS DURABLE?

Yes, very durable. This material is stronger than cashmere, resistant to pilling and won’t shrink with proper care. With the right care, these products are yours to enjoy for years to come.

DO YOU KILL THE ALPACA TO GET THE FUR?

No, we do not hurt the alpacas to get the fur.  Every year thousands of alpacas die naturally, because of the intense cold in the highlands
